2002 and the Pocono Blues Festival rolls on. After so many years, it's hard to come up with superlatives I haven't used before, but the old ones still apply. Lineups with something for everyone, beautiful setting, great performances, terrific crowds and tremendous people running the show are all part of the reason the Pocono Blues Fest weekend is the first vacation I schedule every year. Be sure to check out the official Pocono Blues Festival web site (link below) for more on this great Blues festival and the other summer music festivals held at Big Boulder Resort. I missed Walter "Wolfman" Washington's set on Sunday, and from what I've heard, I shouldn't have.
My usual Pocono companion Linda Clark (a much better photographer than I) now has her own website, including many photos from the Pocono Blues Festival at MyBluezPics. Check mine out first, then visit Linda's pages to see how mine pale in comparison. She's got years worth of photos still to upload, so bookmark her site once you get there so you can check back for more of her work.
